Any suggestions to the January MilCharity donation??

This months donation is up to $112 now, an extra $12 have been added by a very kind milforum member.. :)

Last months donation of $150 went to the humanitarian activities of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in : Tsunami disaster (Sri Lanka).

The two charity's above really grip me! I watch "Children In Need" every year and its so upsetting. Its not only children in UK they look after medically and care for its also famine relief, AID's work in africa. Poor abandoned kids with nothing but a roof to look after their younger brother's and sisters, yet the oldest is 12 and having to prostitute herself.

I know they say charity begins at home, but please have the heart to looka t these poor children and families that have a death sentence in their bodies and no hope of a beautiful life that we all have compared to these poor souls.

For their medical work around the world, in war covered areas, natural disasters etc

They work in chetchny (sp?), asia, balkan (as of what I know atleast) Afghanistan etc
