The German Army Bundeswehr get a lot of new light truck vehicles in the Year 2008 . This is the new generation of light-offroad truck after the legendary MB 1017A .

I got to use them (but not to drive them) during a field exercise July 2008. The Drivers used to sleep in it. As far as i know it is a great vehicle.

And specially, this Mercedes-Benz AXOR , Military-Version had a Engine with Blue-Tec for low emissions . It is momently the best system for reduce the emissions. / To decrease exhaust gases .

In the future the military vehicle get with Electric or Full-Cell drive.
But I mean in the next 20 years the Diesel-System get ordered. I see
a electric drive AFIV in the Museeum by the German " Wehrtechnisches Musseum" ( SPz marder with electrical drive/ One testvehicle . )


Blue-Tec / only in english for Personelly cars but the system is identenly by trucks .
