MEDAL OF HONOR To Air on PBS Tonight, Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 9 p.m.
Medal of Honor, a film which explores fundamental questions about the nature of the human spirit and what it means to have the courage of a hero, will be aired on PBS stations tonight, Nov. 5 at 9 p.m. (check your local listings). The film traces the history of the Medal of Honor from a profile of Sgt. Paul Smith, the first soldier to receive a Medal of Honor in the Iraq war, back to the award's creation during the Civil War. Medal of Honor explores the extraordinary, almost inconceiviable acts of heroism for which the medal has been awarded through intimate accounts movingly told by the living recipients themselves.
