INDIANAPOLIS - Peyton Manning reached another milestone Sunday night, becoming the fastest player in league history to reach 3,000 completions.
The two-time MVP entered the game with 2,999 and set the mark in his 139th career game with a 17-yard completion to Reggie Wayne on the Colts' second pass play. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Dan Marino and Drew Bledsoe shared the record of 146 games.
Manning completed two more passes on the drive before Joseph Addai scored on a 15-yard run to give the Colts a 7-0 lead.
