Madrid Train Bombing

Thanks, but acording to the damage in the train, which explosive would you say that did it? I heard that dynamite and C3/C4 produce a different damage...

The only experience I have is with dynamite. My Father-in-Law used it to blow beaver dams from his streambed. Dynamite will blow upwards and outwards so we would bury it or put it under the dam before the full power could be used. SEMTEX or plastic explosive doesn't need to be packed tightly in an enclosure like dynamite. A suitcase is all that's needed.

Mohamed, Catalunya is now a nation, that is not speculation, that´s a fact, and if you want proofs I can give you a link with the law that declares Catalunya a nation. I relationated the 11 M attack with this because I said that the nacionalist obtained profits with it (We have a weak goverment that works hand with hand with them and has allowed them to call their selfs nation). Some politicians of Catalunya said that if they did not get the status of a nation we will have civil war. This political party (ERC) supported a terrorist group called Terra Lliure (check in wikipedia) and some of the member of this terrorist group are now included in the lists of ERC.

I think Russia has a dozen or so Republics

Yes, but not dozens of NATIONS. One country = one nation. Seventeen nations is not a country is a time bomb. Yugoslavia, anyone?

I do not know how it works in Belgium. Do you get fines if you make the publicity of your bussines in french? I guess not. This is what is going on here. If you want your child to study in spanish you have to go to a private school.

Espana solo hay una :salute:

Thanks Missileer. The investigations have determinated that the explosives used were C3/C4. At the begining the said it was Goma 2-ECO. Do you know why? Because ETA sold a few month before the attack Semtex (which is C3 from Chekz Republic) to the IRA. What does this mean? Well, this means that ETA had the same kind of explosives that were used in the attack. The socialist do not want to make this public because it means that there are probabilities that ETA had something to do with the massacre.

March 11 – Double The Enigma

Editorial

«It is getting increasingly difficult to pull off the pirouettes needed to dodge the obvious (as happened two months ago with the backpack). Rubalcaba better take note. »
As we announced a little over a month ago on the second anniversary of the March 11 bombing attacks, the investigation has only just begun. And it is the independent press that is keeping up the pressure. The other day, the newspaper El Mundo reported that the Renault Kangoo van found in Acala de Henares didn’t have anything inside it. No tape of the Koran, no explosive residues, nothing resembling the 50 or so key bits of evidence that were found later.

We knew the Skoda Fabia did not hold any clues during the first five inspections. Now the neighboring Kangoo van apparently didn’t have anything inside either. The Skoda had to be inspected six consecutive times before finding the pistol holster and Alekema Lamari’s DNA. The Kangoo needed to go through the police station in Canillas before the celebrated Koranic verses tape and the no less celebrated explosives cartridge appeared. This happened on March 12, 48 hours before the elections and the cause of the chain reaction that ended, a day later, with protesters in front of PP headquarters on Genova Street.

The discovery of the “Koran tape” was decisive in tilting public opinion in favor of those who claimed the attacks were committed by Islamist radicals. It opened the door to the confusion that reigned over those days. Moreover, it was perfect for PSOE, allowing the socialists to build up a connection between the war in Iraq and the massacre at Atocha. If now it turns out there was no tape or, worse, the tape miraculously appeared after the van was taken to the police station, a sinister panorama emerges. Someone better explain this soon.

The van, however, was not the only major setback to the “official story” this week. Libertad Digital’s extensive report on the cellular phone which sustains one of the official version’s main pieces of evidence on March 11 is conclusive: “if the idea was to detonate a bomb at a specific time, it makes no sense to use a telephone because a simple timer is cheaper, more secure, and simpler and doesn’t leave a trace.

Libertad Digital conducted its research on a number of the same model cell phones as discovered in the backpack in Vallecas (the brand Trium). It found this telephone could not have set off the adjacent explosives. On the one hand, we already knew the two cables were loose making it impossible to detonate. On the other hand, it was carrying an important clue, the SIM card which allowed authorities to find Jamal Zougham, but which was unnecessary to set off the bomb. In other words, the terrorists didn’t need to leave the card in place to set the alarm that, eventually, would have exploded the backpack.

Everything seems to indicate that someone placed the backpack as a decoy to lead the investigation to the Lavapies neighborhood and to Kalaji’s story and Zougham’s calling shop. The two worked perfectly: discovering the tape and the arrests in Lavapies happened at once and the television and radio station gave the news simultaneously.

The “official story” about March 11 is unsustainable; and every step forward in the real investigation discredits another part of that story. It is possible the government’s numerous media outlets are not too interested in this matter, but this does not mean the government shouldn’t be. It is getting increasingly difficult to pull off the pirouettes needed to dodge the obvious (as happened two months ago with the backpack). Rubalcaba better take note.

Doubts and suspicions are mounting up on the official version of the 11M terrorist attacks in Madrid. The Terrorism Victims’ Association (AVT) has called for a demonstration to demand the clearing up of many dark aspects of the official version of the facts that are daily being exposed, an official version that the AVT questions. The demonstration will be held on June 10th at 6 pm in “Plaza de Colón” (Columbus Square), Madrid, with the motto “We want to know the truth”. According to the AVT spokesmen, more than two years after the attacks, “many doubts and question marks still surround the investigation of the case”.
This demonstration, which is expected to be massively supported, has received the endorsement of numerous social organisations among which internet user groups devoted to the detailed investigation of the facts of the massacre are prominent. These groups, which have shed light on the many pitfalls, inaccuracies and fabricated evidence which plague the official version of the bombings, will rally to the gathering bearing the black pawn symbol on a white field that identifies all who seek the triumph of truth, of the dignity of the citizenry and the memory of the victims. Its black colour symbolizes the mass of fault-finding anonymous citizens who have unselfishly taken action to uphold those ideals.
Some associations of internet users have denounced the passivity, lack of interest, and fainthearted attitude, when not a deliberate concealment of information, practiced by most of the Spanish media in connection with the investigations undertaken by the public. Members of these groups have pointed out that “what in other countries would result in a serious political and institutional crisis, is silenced or disdained by most of the media in Spain, therefore showing an attitude that is in poor keeping indeed with their high responsibility to the public”
Journalists wishing to receive press credentials to report on the demonstration can send an e-mail with their details to prensa@avt.org
