for many years the lords resistance army have been terrorising northern uganda.


they appear to be crazed religious zealots with boy soldiers.

I don't understand how they haven't been crushed with adult soldiers, artitllery, helicopters etc

I remember reading that a group of south american mercenaries were put into northern ugands to kill some of the them. apparently these were tough mercenaries and they were all slaughtered by boy soldiers.

how do brutalised children with ak47s, stand up to adult soldiers?

I really don't understand

Better drugs? Mercs fighting at day time (as opposed to night time when the Ugandans go frightened stiff)? Insufficient funding? Insufficient support? Treason?
