RECRUITS AT NAVY BOOT CAMP in Orlando, Fla., are expected to comply with a strict set of regulations. One rule calls for newbies to stand at rigid attention without moving. The base is near the airport, and planes are continually flying overhead. In ranks outside the galley, a company commander noticed one seaman recruit watching an airborne aircraft. "Would you like to be on that plane?" the CC barked.
"No, ma'am," she replied.
"And why not?"
"It's incoming, ma'am!"
