The Pentagon agreed to provide Bethesda-based Lockheed Martin with $50 million in "bridge funding" to buy parts for four more F-22 fighter jets. The extra funding will provide a bridge until the next administration can make a decision on the future of the F-22 program in January, according to a memo by Pentagon acquisition chief John J. Young Jr.
