Limb lost - courage not

Charge 7

Master Gunner
Here's my salute to Captain David Rozelle now enroute back to Iraq after having had his foot blown off there. While not the first amputee to be returned to active duty, he is the first to be returned to combat duty and in command of a combat unit. You can read about him in many places around the web as well as in his own book entitled "Back In Action" now in it's second printing because it's so popular. Here's one article for a quick glimpse.

I read of a Delta guy from Mogadishu who was in a helicopter that went down. He lost the lower half of his lower leg I think but he got to return to Delta.

Either way. Hard core. Very hard core.

Apparently even with a fake leg he can mess up your day pretty efficiently.
