Reuters - A spokesman for Muammar Gaddafi said in remarks broadcast on Wednesday that the Libyan leader was ready to resist rebels who have seized the Libyan capital Tripoli for months, or even years, and vowed to turn Libya into "volcanoes, lava and fire."
