Frankly, you are in the wrong thread, use the search feature (if it works, it doesnt on my trials) to find something (there are more) like http://www.military-quotes.com/forum/reluctance-instigate-no-fly-zone-t88874.html#post596876 which from my POV seems to be the most current (or the most recently updated at least) thread on the theme.
Now, back to your question, here my personal response: "Allies of Lybia" dont exist. There are "Allies of Ghadafi" (not surprisingly so: His *private and personal* patrimony of 60.000.000.000 $ (much more than Bill Gates, guess who paid for it?
) - or the gains you can make from them - speak a clear language) or "allies of petrol exploring firms", but of Lybia? Show me one, open for suggestions....
