Explosive Detection Dog Razz rests between tasks during a training activity in Australia. 'Razz' was killed whilst identifying a Taliban extremist improvised explosive device in Oruzgan Province during a Special Operations Task Group patrol in mid-September. Razz's handler was also wounded in the explosion but has returned to full duty with the SOTG.

2nd Lieutenant Cathy Haynes is on exchange from the British Royal Artillery (RA) and working with 16 Air Defence Regt as a Reconnaissance Officer. 16 AD Regt operates two ground based air defence systems, the Rapier and the RBS-70 surface to air missiles and are participating in Exercise Pitch Black. Normally stationed in Germany, 2nd Lieutenant Haynes is a Troop Commander of a vehicle mounted High Velocity Missile (HVM) system.
