Gladys Powers born Lewisham England in 1899 has died in British Columbia at the age of 105. She was the last known woman Vet of WW1, she joined up at 15 and lied about her age, she served in the Womens Army Auxiliary Corps before joining the RAF Wier she worked as a waitress. Mrs Powers married a Canadian Soldier at the end of WW1 and moved to Canada
