I was told by my instructor that formal instruction in Krav Maga was rare, does anybody else here use it?

Well, my 29 year old son, since learning Krav Maga, can now kick my azz. Therefore, I no longer mess with him.
What do you mean by "formal?"

I say formal meaning taught by a qualified instructor or someone who has used it in a combat situation.

I have about two years of formal training. It is an excellent system. Unfortunately now, it is hard to find good places of instruction and when you do they are expensive.

If you donīt get military KM instruction I recommend you taking up ballet.
It is about as useful in a HtoH situation.
Or you could do one of them dancing martial arts..
