I Know You Guys Drink Tea - BUTT

Mostly our tank was full of beer,Herforder Pils was the beer of choice, kept in the charge bins, which were always cool, due to being coolant filled.
Then there was the replen, our tank used to get a bottle of Cherry Brandy to keep out the cold.
Tough times!.

Surely that would leave behind a lot of rubbish ? Might make it easy lose things in al the rubbish.

Here is a little story involving an FO LT, a zip lock bag and an armoured vehicle filled with rubbish from all the "jack rats" a mechanised JFT(joint fires team)took with them out field for an excersise.

At the end of the excersise A soldier was tasked to clean out the APC he cleared out all the rubbish along with the zip lock bag. All clean all good right?

Wrong !!someone had decided it would be a good idea to keep their pistol in the bag to save themselves having to clean it. A real annoyance especially in tropical northern Australia...

The proverbial hit the fan . And the pistol hasn't been seen since...

Work!, we were on Chieftain, this tank would break down whenever IT wanted.
It would break your will to live sometimes.
I'm glad we never went to war in them, we would have missed it!.
