Basically, I'm in a scenario paintball team and need some knee protection for when I drop to my knees and go prone. I'm assuming the army's kneepads are going to be the right thing for me since I use my knees in the same way the professionals do. So I was wondering if any of you could point me into a direction to find what the real millitary guys use nowadays.

Check the Law Enforcement Supply catalogs. The knee pads used by the military are the same as the ones used by LE SWAT teams. You can get a good pair four about 15.00 bucks.

a friend of mine is hardcore into paintballing and hes always talking about that site. its a forum. just go ask the people their. from what ive read, theyre fairly nice people and should help you out.
 
Yeah, I my mate and I just purchased a pair online tonight. But just to satiate my curioisity, does the U.S. Army supply kneepads or would servicemen have to buy them themselves?
