What intrigues me here is that as yet no one has proven that Assad or his forces were responsible for the attack IF indeed there was an attack.

It would be easy to take a side in this argument if there was a side that deserved support, so far our choices are between a despotic dictator and a bunch of dodgy terrorists and worst of all the world also has to determine how much of the US intelligence we can trust.
