Ahhh. There was a FAC that had a company for a minute in 2/27 before my cousin was evaced off KSCB.

So the corps is good for christian Marines, but as an atheist, will I have any problems in the corps or the rest of the US military?

Nope, I just wouldn't make it a habit of telling your peers that their God is a lie. I told a chaplain (O-4) that I didn't believe in god, it was pretty akward but he was preaching hardcore too me and I didn't feel like hearing it.

I don't think anyone's god is a lie, but I personally don't like the idea of one. I don't think I'll have any problems

I'm currently a freshmen in college and I'm thinking about becoming an officer in the Marines after graduating. But, I'm debating it because I'm concerned about wasting my parents money on my college education if I don't make it back, how it will affect my relationships, and about how it will change me killing someone, especially as a Christian. Christian's have been killing each other and anyone else they please for as long as there have been Christian's - so that shouldn't be a problem.

I try to compartmentalize religion from the rest of our BS.
