Little Johnnie bursts into his parents bedroom and interrupts Dad on ma ; to cover his embarrassment Dad looks up and tries to laugh it off, but Little Johnnie storms out and slams the door.

Dad chases after him to try again to put matters right, but spots him disappearing into Grandma's room. Dad follows and catches Johnnie just leaping onto grandma.

'Johnnie, what the hell do you think you're doing' roars Dad.

Johnnie looks him in the eye :-

'Huh - not so funny when it's YOUR mum, is it!'

Yea , sorry that it was naughty - but I thought it was so funny. Heard it a couple of days ago on peak time television!

I've been thinking about this joke, trying to work out what makes it so appealing. I've decided it is about innocence. The innocence of childhood; which makes us love them. Funny, ain't it, that we are born perfect and life gradually transforms us into flawed adults. Ah well - at least we can laugh, can't we.
