Japan;Humanitarian opereation in Iraq

Do they carry any firearms for personal protection? I am aware that Japan cannot send it's forces into war unless it is attacked. But what about personal defense for humanitarian missons?

That's why they need the Australians in Al Muthanna and Samawah. We are protecting the Japanese soldiers. Kinda ironic if you ask me.

ja・・・・・being soldier of “the country doesn,t have military"is very very tired.
Massmedias often・・・・・ja very often bash us
and we have to fight against ignorance Bureaucrat of the Ministry of Finance.
Training is also difficult by rise of oil.
The budget is reduced with tmd.
The bullet&missiles is the usual lack.
armored vehicle is lack.
Ifv is made only one a year.
Really, soldier is painful work、hahahahahha・・・・・・orz

Umm...I don't want to rude. Why do Japanese soldiers have many flags of their national flag? 2 flags on their arms, one is for front, one is for back, and one is for on their helmet. Why that is many flags on their uniforms?

It is opposite.
People do not mistake a Japanese army for the U.S.Army.
so they have many flags and wear green uniform.
