A Japanese naval destroyer collided with a two-man fishing boat in waters near Tokyo, apparently slicing the smaller craft in two, Japan’s military said. No survivors from the fishing boat have been found. The authorities are investigating why the ultra-modern warship’s crew and sophisticated Aegis radar systems had not seen the fishing boat.
