AP - Israel dropped bombs and leaflets on Gaza on Saturday, pounding suspected rocket sites and tunnels used by Hamas militants and warning of a wider offensive despite frantic diplomacy to end the bloodshed.

isreal should take aggresive force against those radicals. all they do is bomb all of europe, protest at rome against the pope, o n blow up us embasys... but i really doubt anything will be resolved by just brute force. we can destroy n idea, but not a believe. i think that its just gonna be one of those things in life that one has to life with, and try to minimise it.:tank:
 
I think that you'll find the sudden decision to escalate has been bought about by Israels realisation that the rest of the world is seeing what is going on and will be pushing for an end to it. So Israel has decided to do as much damage as they can in the time remaining.

There seems to be no other logical reason to escalate at this stage.
