BAGHDAD, Oct 24 (AFP) - An Iraqi being held in US custody died of natural
causes at a prison in southern Iraq, the US military said Monday.

The 75-year-old man "died of respiratory failure secondary to pneumonia" at
Camp Bucca, it said in a statement.

The body will be delivered to his family "upon completion of an autopsy, in
accordance with standard procedure", the statement read.

Camp Bucca and Abu Ghraib, on the western outskirts of Baghdad, are the two
detention camps used by US-led forces to hold suspected criminals and
insurgents.

Camp Bucca holds more than 6,000 detainees, according to the military
statement.

Two Iraqi detainees held at Camp Bucca died in April 19 and July 28.

Riots at Camp Bucca in April left 24 inmates wounded, after a riot in
January that left four inmates dead and six wounded.
