Do note the phenomenon of foreign fighters to fight in these regions is not solely an ISIS one.

Many Iranian, members of the Arab states and even fighters from as far as Indonesia are known to be aiding both militia groups such as the Kurdish peoples and even moderate Sunni Tribes in Iraq.

Even in remote cases ex western soldiers from the UK and Sweden are even risking prosecution by their home countries to volunteer with forces combating ISIS.

However the long term effects of this is yet to be seen. Once upon a time this same situation was done to the Soviets, and once upon a time it did not end well...

The Iranian regime is not biased? So Christians and Sunni's are not treated as 2nd class citizens? Personally I wouldn't trust any members of the axis of evil with an atomic bomb, but that's me.

BS! and you know it!

The Open Doors World Watch List highlights the 50 countries where it is most difficult to live as a Christian. These are the places where followers of Christ must keep their beliefs hidden and where living the gospel means facing beatings, imprisonment, discrimination and abuse.

You are no. 7 on the list.

The Protestants, and particularly evangelical groups, face the most difficulties from amongst the Christian communities in Iran. Human Rights Watch estimated their numbers at around 10,000-15,000 in 2002. Churches have been closed down, the use of Persian in sermons banned, the publishing of Bibles restricted and Muslims strictly prohibited from attending sermons, with previous converts from Islam being put under particular surveillance. A number of Christian leaders have been killed or found murdered since the early 1990s

Iran are just as imbued with rottenness as the former USSR or GDR.

From the information I've heard from missionary's this is right on target. Christians are persecuted in Iran. Converts from Islam to Christianity are subject to death.

I have an Iranian friend who had to flee because he converted.
He can tell some interesting stories about how the Iranian Nazi regime treats people like him.

Do you remember the demonstrations in the 2009 elections.

Well ....I don't believe Iran is an Utopia or a Free land
There's a problem in any Democratic system around The world
