I am a retired operational admiral who was in his last command the commander of the SNMG1 and the last commander of the Standing Naval Force Atlantic (STANAFORLANT). Currently I am involved with peace keeping and post conflict missions focusing on stabilization, normalization and confidence building between the conflict parties in order to create a long lasting peace arrangements.
I am looking forward to have an interesting exchange of viewpoints and opinions in support of peaceful solutions for conflict situations anywhere in the world. Currently I am focusing on Georgia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia while I am also having a special interest in the province Aceh of the Republic of Indonesia.
