Can anyone find me some info (links) on the Irish Army Paratroopers? Also to a picture of their jump wings if possible? Any reading info would be great. I need to read this by the end of the night tonight.... so the sooner the better.

The only reward is the thanks you'll get from me...

Thanks

What information are you looking for?

The course is similar to BAC in that you need five static jumps, however, it is a parachutist course, not a paratrooper course and is only offered once a year. The Defence Forces course is more akin to a civilian course than a military one, it is classified as "sports." This is because IDF does not have a dedicated Abn unit, the closest they have is the ARW (Army Ranger Wing), whom are all paratroopers as opposed to parachutists.

These are the wings (Ice cream cone).
