I dont know whether this has made world news yet, but here in Spain there is no other subject at the moment, allow me to cross post as the matter is complex.
To sum it up, hundreds of thousends "normal" citizens are on the streets in Spain to ask for a fundamental change of how politics are made, my take is that this is as hot a topic (and will spread rapidly to other nations) as the fall of the wall:
