If anyone thinks Obama has alienated the world, they're having a laugh.
He's actually repaired a lot of the damage that the previous administration made but it's going to be a long time before the US regains the sort of trust that it had before 2003.
May well be true, but here is an example of how President Obama faired with one of our strongest allies:

Obama, weakened after midterms, reveals limited leverage in failed S. Korea deal

By Scott Wilson and Howard Schneider
Washington Post Staff Writers
......"Although no one has said that Obama was unable to reach agreement directly because of his midterm losses, neither Lee nor other leaders in Seoul for the Group of 20 summit appear eager to help him with his biggest concerns or ingratiate themselves with the American president, as they had a year ago." .....

The situattion with the Democratic Party is not entirely President Obama's fault. Many Democrats in Congress and the Senate for whatever reason, did not help to show a united front the last two years. If that continues the democrats will probably not recover for the next election.

Sooner are later the Democrats are going to have to quit blaming Bush and look in the mirror. They need to build confidence in their party by standing up as Truman did and say, "The Buck Stops Here"
