luckily the flu has evaded me this year. A few colds have made my life unpleasant but no bugs that land me in bed. For me, I normally get something like the flu about once every 2 years.

Just got over a 14-day cold myself, thankfully no aches and pains like you had. Still sucks when your lungs are at 40% capacity and you're coughing up scary stuff.
