I'm a Medic! (and I love to hear you scream my name)


As a Professional, I behave professionally,
What you get is what you'll see,
A Physician with a Mission,
A Doctor with a vision,
A Surgical Trauma elitist,
Though I'm never life defeatist,
I'm human first and less machine,
Always prepped, scrubbed and clean,
An Officer- GMDO, and a CMD,
A Medic in the Army,
Making difficult decisions is what I do,
The sacred Oath I took is my honour and Truth,
Making only careful incision,
With steady hand and aimed precision,
A Specialist within my Field of Art,
I follow it with all my Heart,
Not interested for ignorant gain,
Just helping those who suffer in pain,
For I love people, and humanity despite,
The arrogance, and their hateful spite,
I've been to war zones and yet do I stay,
Following my path, this challenging way,
In the Midst of Hell I have been,
There's not much that I haven't seen,
Medicine is my life, my chosen game,
I'm a MEDIC, (and I love to hear you scream my name.)

and finally!

I'll tell you what, my medic is a PFC, he gets to patch a couple sachrapnal holes in a few of and got his CMB (Combat Medical Badge) and thinks he's God's gift to medics now. I still love the little booger though. We started out with a different medic, but lost him due to the fact he was overly stressed when we ran out to the guns in the middle of incomming mortars to return fire. Looked like he'd seen a ghost when our tower got hit. So he couldn't take it them we got that little smart arse and have had no problems other than him trying to come out there with us to load ammo. Like I said I love the little pecker.
