Written by Resa LaRu Kirkland

1. 40% of all workers in L.A. County (L.A. County has 10 million
people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This was because they are predominantly illegal immigrants, working without a green card.

2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.

4. Over 2/3's of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal
alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal whose births were paid for by taxpayers.

5. Nearly 25% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.

6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.

7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.

8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.

9. 21 radio stations in L.A. are Spanish speaking.

10. In L.A.County 5.1 million people speak English. 3.9 million speak Spanish (10.2 million people in L.A.County).

(All 10 from the Los Angeles Times)

Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops but 29% are on welfare. http://www.cis.org

Over 70% of the United States annual population growth (and over 90% of California, Florida, and New York) results from immigration.

The cost of immigration to the American taxpayer in 1997 was a NET
(after subtracting taxes immigrants pay) $70 BILLION a year, [Professor Donald Huddle, Rice University].

The lifetime fiscal impact (taxes paid minus services used) for the average adult Mexican immigrant is NEGATIVE .

29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

Dude what is the United States going to do about this? Either you legalize them or you send them back. No?

There are approximately 11 million illegals in the US. That's too many immigrants to grant blanket amnesty. What about the people who have immigrated from all over the World legally and have been waiting years for their legal citizenship? There's also the problem that if 11 million can successfully populate the country and get away with it, what's to stop 11 million more and so on and on. America will lose it's sovereignty de facto and become a different country. Mass immigration also sends the wrong message to the country vacated that it's okay to start back over producing people again, then, they will eventually need a place to go. The Dept. Of Homeland Security is a joke searching old ladies in the airports while millions pour over the border with no checks at all.

I think we should clean out the hallowed halls of Congress and White House and elect real people instead of lawyers. Then close the borders for ten years except for visas only, find any lawbreaker who has overstayed their visa and deport them forever. Then re-open the immigration bureau to allow legal immigration once again. We, as a Nation, would die without immigration but not colonization.

we are victims of our own generocity. we started to allow people to stay because they had children here and we didnt want to split them up. instead of a thank you, they sent word to their friends back home that all they had to do was have a kid here and they would be allowed to stay. its about time we get the term "human decency" out of our dictionary because i just dont see it anymore.

Huh........wrong. The parent is still Illegal even though the child is a US citizen by birth. The minor child cannot petetion for the parents to gain legal status until they reach the age of 21.

If the parents are detained and deported the minor child can be deported with the parents as well but they retain citizenship.

Interesting. And welcome back 03, nice to see ya round again.

Can you blame the illegals for wanting to come here though? Mexico doesn't seem to stop messing around with its economy and social problems. If you lived a poor life and could find riches a few miles north i doubt that you wouldn't take that trip illegal or not.

The illegal immigrant criminals are just a result of poverty since their families didn't come here legally and wouldn't be set up to handle a normal life. Immigrants themselves aren't dangerous, it's the environment they grow up in that causes all the problems, which for them is usually a poor one. Mexicans and others are one day going to wake up to this fact and hopefully do something about it so they won't face such ridicule in the future.

I'm optimistic about it however, the Italians and Irish were considered violent and stupid when they came here, now no one says anything like that since they've fully integrated. Trust me, the same will happen to the Latinos and such.

Huh Yeah. I think I said the parents are still Illegal right?

You want to blame someone blame the policy makers that hand cuff ICE. ICE can only detaine minors at a juvenile facility rated by ICE. Generally found only in Metro areas. If they don't have acess to a JDC then the minor must be deported that day, the parents must go with them. So if your talking a family getting detained in Iowa that means 3 commericial Airline tickets for the family plus 2 for escorting agents.
