Indeed it was, he also had another quote I liked..."But thus do I counsel you, my friends: distrust all in whom the impulse to punish is powerful!" and my favourite... "God is dead." however in these parts if you can quote Nietzsche you get accused of being a nazi.

Actually, one of my favourite song lines was 'Where is Nietzche now?'
 
When I was in College I saw a bit of graffitti that I found funny. In one hand was written "God is dead." signed Nietsche. Below it in another hand was written "Neitsche is dead." signed God.
