A COOK in the Oklahoma National Guard, I was delivering a truckload of chow to troops in the field with a KP enlisted man. A road guard approached us and requested the password, which I didn't know. Then I told him I was the cook, and that we had all their food in the truck. With that, the guard said he'd guide us to the commander's tent. As the guard ran in front of the truck, the KP remarked, "If we could say 'I have your food' in any language, we could take over the world."
