I wish that it would thunderstorm tonight.. I"m having trouble sleeping.

Sometimes I'll turn on youtube and cover the screen.. listen to heavy rain and thunderstorms to fall asleep.

I know... weird.

No, not alone there. I Actually sleep like a babe through hurricanes!!

I slept through a hurricane, I was 3 sheets to the wind following a police club function. The hurricane ripped the front of the building on the side my room was situated! I didn't know about it till I come round! :lol:
 
The weather can't make its mind up, it threatens rain, then the sun comes out, then threaten rain again. Oh, on top of that we've got a bloody power cut.:mad:

Sounds like Florida during hurricane season!

Right now ~~~~it's beeeautiful out! Stlll in the 70's F. Drinking my hot coffee on the porch. Ah! Gonna be a fine day!
I hope it's one star of A day for my IMF family also!

I lived in an area once when every time the wind blew the power went out.. what a nuisance. I called the city for weeks and they finally trimmed the trees.

Sunny today but it's getting cooler at night. It's really beautiful outside but I'm staying in .. feeling a little tired. It would probably do me some good to go outside and work in the yard but I'm being lazy.
 
Usually our power cuts are because, either someone has nicked the power lines (I'm not kidding) or high winds have brought power cables down.

Today is a little better, it rained last night, still dark clouds but getting warmed.
 
we're subject to a weather alert, we are expecting 80 mph winds and 300mm of rain over the county in the next 24 hours, with flooding expected! :(
 
I've been at the choctaw casino in Oklahoma playing over the weekend and walked outside to drive home and RAINING CATS AND DOGS.. IN THE DARK.

OUCH..

We had a time driving home that night but we made it. I've had a little trouble driving at night in the rain the last few years with all the 18wheelers on the highway and it began giving me panic attacks ..so... not fun.

I don't know how we did it.. but we made it. ( a lot of screaming and laughing..

Nice and sunny and warm.

I got my SUV washed and vacuumed out. It really looks nice.:smile:
