During a staff meeting at the Air Force base, the captain disagreed with everything being discussed. The commander, a general, grew annoyed, and let the younger officer know it. "Well, sir," said the captain, "I doubt you made general by agreeing with everything someone else recommended."

"That's true," said the general, leaning in. "But that is how I made major."
