Homemade bore butter - Help?

I do not want to spend the money for "Bore Butter" anymore. I have tried to make my own using olive oil and bees wax, but it always ends up too hard. If I add more olive oil it ends up too soupy. Does anyone know how to get that nice "pasty" consistency that the name brand has?

As a matter of interest I have used pure bees wax without problem, but the sizing press does need a base heater. A buddy of mine bought a drum of Alox from the US years ago, he gave me some and during tests I didnt like it at all, too messy.
