HMS Invincible (R05) was attacked in May 30 of 1982 by argentinian forces.
the last AMM 39- Exocet hit it, then 2 pilots in A4 Skyhawks hit with 3 bombs.
The ship dissapeared by 3,5 months... no photos, no news..
on September it return to UK. But is really the original "Vinci"?
Its a complete and utter load of nonsense.
Why would the Royal Navy wish to hide the fact over 23 years after the event
There is no evidence at all. The ship returned after the war with its whole crew, not a single crewman on the ship was even slightly wounded during the war, and not even one sailor of the nearly 1000 who served on this ship has said anything to back up this account.

here a few names.

In the cemetery of San Carlos are the names of the crew who rest in peace under the water of Falklands Islands.

Lynda Cash a member of the crew told something about those horrible days.

I think that if a British ship "disappeared" that the families of the crew would've had something to say about it long since, don't you?

for much more time, uk keep the secret of HMS Dasher tragedy...
in WWII the HMS Dasher was sunk and nobody knew that after 30 years.
The official cause of her sinking is still doubtful. The findings of the Board of Enquiry were never released until 1972 and even now information is being withheld. This is just part of a veil of secrecy which has surrounded HMS Dasher ever since. Rescuers, survivors and witnesses - everyone with any knowledge of what befell the Dasher in these waters - all were sworn to secrecy.

;) see this link:

in the HMS Invincible is too important the silence... was a Flagship in "Corporate" Operation in 1982 and the prince of Wales aboard as pilot of helicopter.
And possibly nuclear weapons in middle of Cold War with soviet subs watching
:rambo:
UK goverment simply no have options to say the true to the people

Bollocks! this is a stupid conspiracy theorey thet the Invinsible was sunk and then rebuilt using another ship, it's a load of shite from start to finish and i think these posters are from another forum tryinfg to start something.
The whole allagfation is an affront to the serving men and women who manned that ship and to the families of the people who died serving tjheir country!

as proof of attack
AMD Dassault Breguet Super Etendard of "ALA" squadron
resupply combustible during "Operación Invencible". Behind can see the second KC 130 "RANQUEL" squadron and 3 of 4 Skyhank of "ZONDA" squadron this 30 of may of 1982.

Dear Friends:
After studying about the attack to Invincible i still waiting for someone who tell or answer me this questions:

- There isn´t any registry of aerial activity from that aircraft carrier, from that date (may 30)...

- Nobody knows where it was the Invincible from the May 30 to July ends, which enter the disguised Illustrious like Invincible in Port Stanley.

- Nobody can explain why the aircraft carrier do not touch land on June 14 (when the others ships, all the others including Hermes touched port Stanley or returned to England).

- It is virtually impossible and irrational that the repairs have become to opened sea, with temperatures below cero and a few hours of light.

- Nobody can´t explain why the second aircraft carrier entered disarmed, if it was the Illustrious it was operative from half-full of June.

- Nobody can´t explain why HMS Illustrious returned immediately to UK from Falklands (obviously to be finished and to be armed).

-Why the HMS Invincible that left to the Falklands had the black tower, and when it arrived in September it had it of gray color? repainted?? may be but i think is another ship, becasue Invincible didn´t had phalanx and the ships who arrives to Porstmouth as Invincible had phalanx.

 :?: :?:
