Thought I would post this topic! to honour a fine ship that served in the Falklands War and served her country well for 25 years.
Launched on May 3rd 1977, and commissioned on the 11th July 1980, this Ship has certainly had a fine career.
I hope we can quosh all the rumours that this Ship was sunk in 1982! and give credit to the ship and all who served on her.
I have been on board Vinci many a time, in fact, the last time was only 2 months ago on the 26th July, and may I add, that the she looked as good as ever. This is a fine vessel, and has just celebrated 25 years of service!
