Hi,
I'm newly read John Leppelman book "Blood on the Risers", recall my own Soviet Union army soldier feelings, start dig for more information about John and find this forum. I hope i find right place, because "I(we) were soldiers" :-D

I too have read the book "Blood on the Risers" and may be able to assist you in your question about John Leppelman.

Unfortunately, John died a few years ago, I believe it was from cancer. But, if you type in Echo/LRRP/Rangers to google you will get a forum site that is run by Rocky, the guy who went through the in country Ranger school with John. The whole site it mainly dedicated to Charlie rangers and other similar units that fought in Vietnam. A lot of members of the forum were members of Charlie Rangers and worked with John himself or at least heard of him and his exploits.
