Hey all I'm Tom and I found this forum while looking for information on the Civil Air Patrol (Cadets). I'm interesting in joining CAP and I figured this would be a great place to ask questions seeing as there is (or used to be) a good CAP presence here.
If anyone has the answer, while looking for a local CAP squadron (that is the right term, right?) I stumbled upon something interesting. Two of them with basically the exact same info but both on the official cap locator with the government.

Those are the closest to me and if anyone could comment about them, tell me what they're like it would be appreciated. Or if anyone can say what CAP is like in general that would be great. I plan to go to join a local CAP squadron around September so I can give myself some months to exceed the fitness standards so getting in and succeeding will be easy.
