When I was stationed at RAF Wattisham a buddy of mine was booked into the RAF Hospital at RAF Ely for an operation. He was laying in his assigned bed when a Medical Officer asked him ""What are you here for airman?"" My buddy replied ""Ï have hemorrhoids sir"" The medical officer replied ""Officers have hemorrhoids, airmen have piles, you have piles."
