My dad was a WWII vet who saw action in Leyte (served in 96th Infantry, 593rd Signal Company--Deadeyes). He recently passed away and our family is trying to piece together an army ditty he used to sing that always made him laugh. It referenced all the military branches and ended with "...and the army is for s**t." (please, absolutely no disrespect intended-- he served proudly.) I wish I could remember more of it but unfortunately we never recorded him singing it. This is the first military forum I've been too, and hope that this scant info may sound familiar to someone. Anyone out there have any idea what the rest of the words were? Thanks for any help.
