Hi! I really am excited about participating in this forum. My name is Anna, and I'm 47, and I'm single/never been married, and I still live with my dear elderly widowed mother. I have fond memories of performing my duties in the United States Air Force from 1985 to 1990 in South Korea, Oklahoma, and Alaska. In my five years of service, I did two remote short tours that lasted one year long each. I was an Information Management Specialist. :type:

Thank you everyone for being sweet to me! I've never been in a military forum like this before, unless you count the personal classified forums on military.com 15 years ago! I just love how we're all from different cultures and different military backgrounds. :thumb:

I also got to say one more thing: when I was in the military, I was the happiest when I wore my battle dress uniform and combat boots!

Do you know how to make shepherds pie? :-D

I've eaten shepherds pie before, but I've never made it. I know that it's mainly meatloaf layered with mash potatoes on top. I'll have to look for a good recipe of it online and make it sometime. I remember how good it was.:D:D. :)

I´m a complete disaster in a kitchen.
My friends think that I ought to give my food to the Taliban - it would kill them instantly. On the other hand, it would be seen as biological warfare.

Now that's an idea!

I'll have to practice making it sometime because, to be honest, I can't make anything without a recipe either.
