Hello everybody.
My presence here may sound strange or even provocative to someone. Well, it is not.
I am a civilian a and a conscientious objector to the use of firearms, but I have a deep interest into the history of alpine warfare, and I am a collector of First World War debris that I personally pick up on the glaciers and high peaks of the Italian Alps. Of course I'm a mountaineer too.
The best piece in my collection is a wooden plate with the hand written word "Gipfelstollen" (Mountain Top Gallery in German) which I found on a glacier. The very same plate is depicted in wartime pictures at it's original location inside an ice gallery near the top of the mountain overhanging the glacier.
