Just a few words about myself: I'm a 49 year old german male, eversince interested in the history of WWII, especially the raids of the RAF Bomber Command and the USAAF (and, of course, the german countermeasures).
My IMF-name "Nightfighter" comes closest to the focus of my interesst and got nothin' to do with any military expertise/career of mine. In fact, I have never been in "the (german) Army" or any other military organization.
For the last 25 years, I've been reading whatever I could find with regards RAF and USAAF bombing raids on Germany during WWII.
By coincidence - while strolling the web (on a few days off, after having been hospitalized) - I found this site with lotsa information. I'm confident, that there is still a lot for me to be discovered here.
