Heavy infantry APCs Vs. Light APCs and humvees.

What are engineers for? Good question. I've always found they make quite good door stops, or if you roll one up it makes a nice draft excluder!

In all seriousness, the engineers have more important things to do then replace every bridge in theatre because our IFV's happen to be 5 tons too heavy.

5 tons over the limits wouldn't really matter

The whole point of a Stryker is to be C-130 transportable.

40 tons carriers cannot do this.

That reqirement has been dropped.

It was not (surprise, surprise) considered feasible.

I haven't heard anything about this
The entire point of the IBCT is to go anywhere in the world in under 96 hours.

Heard it at tanknet, from a guy who is an AT platoon leader in the Stryker brigade. He was missing his tank.
