Hello all,

I am looking for the Ballistic knife. I am interested in buying without the spring so there wont be any legal issues. Please advise..
 
Welcome. I have a thumb operated, backspring assisted CRKT which is legal in Texas. The mechanism loads up when the blade is about one inch out of the frame and opens with more speed than a switchblade. The model is the "Wild Weasel" which I don't think you will find except at gun and knife shows. It is also a liner lock which is easy to refold and put away.
