I admire the military but am an iconic civilian. ... At any rate, my interests include special operations, the cold war, and covert interventions by intelligence services and paramilitary (deniable) groups.
I was a civilian employee with the Navy Department but took an early retirement during the Clinton administration when the politicians decided we wouldn't need the military or intelligence services any more. :cens:
