I suppose the sacrifice that both my grandfathers made fighting the Japanese, one of them being seriously wounded, was totally worthless and contributed nothing to the defeat of Japan since the Atomic bombs were dropped.

The only reason I responded this way was because it was starting to seriously sound like you were saying that all the other countries militaries, except for China, was worthless.
