I don't think that system has the range to really be effective in this scenerio. Shotguns are great for anything up to about 40-100 meters depending on the type of shell one is using.

The M 240B/C would be excellent for this scenerio. As it has proven numerous times over the past 12 year in Iraq and Afghanistan.

So you had the side with the trigger? And he had the side where the bullets come out? Ever felt tempted to surprise him?

The gun was always unloaded when on a route march, besides which I was better trained then to do something so stupid and end up in front of a court martial.
